Since 2012, a beautiful new residence has been added to Agriturismo Pian del Tevere: Casella della Barca.

Located 600 meters beeline from the main structure, Casella della Barca is surrounded by the same pristine, quiet, private landscape.

Casella della Barca offers four charming apartments.

Casella della Barca’s history

In the old days, the peasants going toPerugiawould cross theTiberRiveron the ferryman’s large wooden boat. People used to pay him with country products, like eggs or chickens.

The ferryman lived in a little house, not far from the river. It was Casella della Barca (which in the local dialect literally means the boat’s little house).

Casella della Barca was renovated with passionate attention to every detail, with the aim of making it beautiful and comfortable for our guests.  Guests will enjoy the relaxing, peaceful and quiet atmosphere — and are sure to bring back home wonderful memories of their stay.

Improving on the success of Pian del Tevere,  we now have four glamorous apartments, between 60 to 70 square meters, each decorated in a charming manner evoking the countryside and life along the river. Two apartments are on the ground floor, and a further two are on the floor above.

They have been named after old local expressions:

Ground floor:

La Vencara: with exclusive garden, living room with kitchenette, and two bedrooms: one double room and another large one that can be set up with a double or two twin beds, one bathroom. Occupancy 4.

La Merigge: with private garden, living room with kitchenette, fireplace, one double room and a bathroom. There is also a sofa bed in the living room which sleeps one. Occupancy 2 + 1.

Upstairs:

Vent’i sotto: an apartment with a 270° degree panoramic view, living room with kitchenette, fireplace, and two bedrooms: one double room and another large one that can be used as a double or twin, bathroom. It has an exclusive garden. Occupancy 4.

All the apartments are very cosy and comfortable, are charmingly furnished with careful attention to detail, and all offer modern comforts such as well-equipped kitchen, tableware, microwave cooker, air conditioning and heating.

Services for all apartment guests include: TV, internet access, mountain bikes, sunshade, barbecue, beach umbrella and beach chairs.
